REMOTE ACCESS TO E-MAIL THROUGH WEBMAIL
Webmail is an e-mail management application integrated to our hosting Web servers, enabling you to access your e-mail using th Web browser of any computer linked to the Internet.
All clients hosted on Natmark-Concept's servers have access to this service for free.
To access Webmail, enter the following address: http://webmail.yourdomain.com (replace "yourdomain.com" by your own domain name). Enter your email username and password, select your language of choice and go!
The interface is easy to manage and online help is there to guide you.
Webmail, a temporary solution
Webmail is a temporary solution to manage your email. Even if the email remains on the server, equipment failure (however improbable but possible) could likely make you loose all your e-mails (daily backups do not cover e-mails). Furthermore, your server space being limited to the hosting plan you have selected, if you go over quota, all read email will be automatically deleted.
A few tips
1. Configure the email application on your computer so email DOESN'T stay on the server. This way, you avoid losing mail and bounced messages if your box is full.
2. If you expect to check your email through Webmail during the day, close your personal computer or at least, your email application before you leave. If you leave everything open and connected to the Internet, your computer will download your messages as they come in and you won't be able to access them on Webmail (they won't be there anymore...).
3. Unlike the messages you receive which are automatically downloaded to your computer when online, messages you send using Webmail stay on the server. If you want a copy to be sent to your computer (once you're back at your desk), include your own email address in the Bcc (blind carbon copy) field, in order to send yourself a copy of your mail.
4. Upon your first Webmail visit, go directly to the Options page where you can personalize the application to your requirements. You can always access the online help with the "Help" button at the top of your screen, or by clicking the question mark next to each field.
