This type of project is what we call a "calling card". It must be considered as a starting point and not a full project. It will not place you website at the top of the search engine results, but will give you the opportunity of showing a professional profile and can grow at your own pace.
You will be responsible for promoting your Web site by all other known means: word of mouth, business cards, advertising, emails, etc. People will visit your site to the extent of your personal promoting.
